A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Finance Consultant within a market leading commercial finance broker, during an exciting period of growth.

The successful candidate will be part of the team handling direct inbound enquiries from business owners across the UK looking to secure the right facility for their business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of all Invoice Finance products, keeping ahead of current developments in the commercial finance sector
  • Referring prospects to the most suitable lender based on the relevant criteria
  • Produce written proposals to lenders which will provide a broad summary of a company’s current position/portfolio and on-going requirement
  • Monitoring and maintaining a pipeline of opportunities, liaising with the relevant lenders to ensure follow up procedures are adhered to for the benefit of your prospects
  • Ensuring all activities are updated on a daily basis using our CRM system (Salesforce), prioritising your workload to maintain efficiency
  • Following up with prospects to ensure the relevant lender has been in contact, quotes have been issued and prospects understand the various solutions presented to them, so they can make an educated decision on what is best for their business

Key Requirements:

  • Proven track record within a similar role, preferably within the commercial finance sector
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to build relationships over the phone with Directors/Senior Management
  • Excellent negotiation/sales skills
  • Ability to prioritise own workload
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • IT fluency - ability to work with our CRM (Salesforce)
