Excellent role reporting into the Supplier and Contracts Manager of a highly successful healthcare company. In this role you will play an integral part in supporting and implementing procurement strategies. You will also manage supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. We are looking for a candidate who will be hands on and focus on continuous improvement and delivering value to the organisation.
Procurement and Purchasing:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and negotiate competitive contracts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring ongoing collaboration and performance improvement.
- Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks and disruptions.
- Placing orders across multiple systems.
- Develop system superuser status across multiple systems.
Contract Management:
- Support to Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support with Monitoring supplier performance against contractual obligations and address any issues promptly.
- Support with managing contract renewals and amendments effectively.
Qualifications Essential Desirable
- Inventory Management system experience
- E-Procurement system and ordering experience
- 3 years of Procurement or Supply Chain Experience - Ideally within NHS or Healthcare
- CIPS desirable
- GCSEs /A-levels or equivalent
- Competency in MS Office Suite - EXCEL, WORD, OUTLOOK, POWERPOINT.
- Knowledge of NHS and Public procurement regulations and guidelines
- Project Management/ Coordination Experience
