Through growth, my client are looking for an experienced Junior Quality Technician to join the team with potential to develop into a Quality Engineer

Salaried position over 40 hrs per week.

Person Specification

- Supporting senior members of the Quality team within tasks of production - including visual/manual inspection of parts and components.

- Reporting and assisting with Non conforming parts.

- Reading of engineering drawings and knowledge of tolerances.

- Working in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

- Technically competent and able to use own initiative to provide solutions to problems. - Systematic, thorough with strong analytical skills

- Quality planning and process development

- Data analysis, Investigation and Problem solving

- Technical Report writing and presentation

- Self-motivated to be able to work with minimum supervision and able to use own initiative to provide solutions to problems and form working teams.

- Excellent team player for working with colleagues and customers at all organisational levels effectively and to build relationships and influence others to achieve key objectives.

- Knowledge of project QA/QC requirements;

- QC surveillance/audit.

o Familiarity of CNC Machining, processes and application . o Non-Conformance Management, Corrective Action and Root Cause Reporting, Data Analysis, Investigations / problem solving using quality tools o Competent in the use MS Office products

- Liaising with customer Quality representatives for the planning and co-ordination inspection and verification activities.

- Responsible for identifying, reporting and management of Project non-conformity (scrap, Remake, Regrade, Modify/Repair, Remake, Concession) against project/business requirements

Essential Experience

- Minimum 2years background experience in Qualityideally from a manufacturing/engineering background.
