About the Role:

Our client, is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to take charge of their quality operations. This is a key role within the organisation, providing an excellent opportunity for a proactive leader to drive quality standards and improvements across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Quality team, ensuring compliance with EN9100 and ISO9001 standards.
  • Implement and drive quality improvements through Lean Management, identifying and addressing areas for enhancement.
  • Manage risks and ensure effective quality processes to protect customer interests.
  • Develop team capabilities, focusing on succession planning and essential skills.
  • Align quality initiatives with overall business goals and strategies.
  • Act as the primary contact for quality matters with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

Main Duties:

  • Contribute to strategic planning with the leadership team.
  • Develop risk management strategies focusing on preventing errors.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs to ensure quality objectives are met.
  • Oversee quality approvals for sub-contractors and suppliers, conducting audits as required.
  • Foster a quality-focused culture throughout the site.
  • Address quality issues promptly and lead problem-solving efforts.
  • Manage non-conformance processes to ensure timely resolution.
  • Lead quality management reviews with the leadership team.

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Business.
  • Proven track record in leading quality improvements and managing change.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across the organisation to enhance quality processes.
  • Knowledge of EN9100 and relevant regulatory standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership and relationship-building abilities.
