Position Overview:

Due to continued growth, my client are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic and successful team based in Reading. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a career-enhancing project, delivering pioneering solutions that will shape the future of infrastructure in the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a variety of water and waste-water projects, ranging from smaller capital maintenance works to large civil new build schemes. You will play a key role in the AMP7 delivery team, working predominantly across the Thames Valley and Thames South regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate cost analysis and programme evaluation
  • Assess compensation events and variations
  • Engage with risk management processes for schedule and cost
  • Implement Earned Value Management techniques
  • Maintain a customer-focused approach, striving to exceed client expectations

Role Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled and working towards Full Membership of either RICS or CICES
  • Strong understanding or experience in business systems, cost analysis, and project evaluation
  • Appreciation of risk management, sustainability, and health & safety principles
  • High level of integrity and commitment to doing things the right way

The ideal candidate will have Water / Waste-water experience

The candidate must have civil experience
