Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage cost estimates and budgets for a variety of projects.
- Undertake value engineering and cost control to ensure projects remain on budget.
- Liaise with senior clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
- Program and schedule projects to coordinate timelines and resources.
- Manage risk and issue resolution in a timely manner to avoid cost overruns.
- Provide regular cost reports and analysis to the senior management team.
- Ensure projects comply with all legal, regulatory, and health & safety requirements.
Key Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction or rail industry
- Strong understanding of construction costs, contracts, and regulations.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using Quantity Surveying software and MS Office Suite.
