Job Title: Quantity Surveyor - Water

Location: Reading

Salary: Up to 60,000

Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor with a background in the Water Utilities sector? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join a leading engineering and maintenance provider, offering long-term career growth and the chance to work on impactful Water projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage commercial administration tasks including raising and closing Early Warning and Variation notices.
  • Estimate, price, and negotiate Variation quotations.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, working closely with other departments.
  • Produce Applications for Payment, cost and value reports, and support cash flow and finance processes.
  • Handle subcontract management, cost analysis, and identify margin improvement opportunities.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Essential:Experience in a similar role within contracting, with experience in the Water Utilities sector and familiarity with NEC3/4 and/or IChemE contracts.
  • Desirable: Background with CEMAR, SAP experience, and knowledge in dispute resolution.
  • Qualifications: Engineering or commercial qualification required; degree or membership in a professional institution (MRICS or similar) is a plus.
