As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be a key member of the team managing the financial aspects of traditional new build houses and low-rise apartment projects. Responsibilities for Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Manage cost estimation, budget forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Oversee variations, ensuring value for money and monitoring project expenditure.
- Work closely with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to manage financial and contractual obligations.
- Lead procurement strategies and negotiate contracts for various phases of the projects.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and effectively handle claims or disputes.
- Oversee payments, final accounts, and risk assessments to maintain financial control.
Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor
- A minimum of 6 years' experience in Quantity Surveying, ideally within residential development.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Proven track record in managing traditional new build housing and low-rise apartments.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cost management, and risk mitigation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with stakeholders and contractors.
