AV Technology Specialist - Reading (Hybrid) - £35,000 to £40,000
A unique opportunity has arisen with a growing integrator who are looking for a Technology Specialist to work alongside the Head of Digital Technology.
Responsible for the testing of potential new software and hardware products as well as compiling reports and supporting documentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and procedures.
- Analyse test results, identify and troubleshoot issues, and document findings in detailed reports.
- Create and maintain product matrices, documenting product specifications, features and differences.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive commissioning and support documentation for new products including “how to” guides and player build guides.
- Collaborate with other internal teams (such as sales, support and digital build) to ensure they are educated on any new products added to the portfolio.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to the role.
- Report regularly to the Head of Digital Technology on project progress and any challenges encountered. This may include presenting findings and recommendations.
- Maintain direct relationships with vendors for feedback, feature requests, and other communications.
- Create and update media player operating system images to ensure they are up-to-date and functioning correctly, documenting the changes as required.
- Provide training to internal teams, such as digital build, sales, installation engineers, and support, on any newly qualified products.
Experience
- 3+ years experience in a similar position - QA, Product Development, AV Support etc
- Understanding of digital technologies
