AV Technology Specialist - Reading (Hybrid) - £35,000 to £40,000

A unique opportunity has arisen with a growing integrator who are looking for a Technology Specialist to work alongside the Head of Digital Technology.

Responsible for the testing of potential new software and hardware products as well as compiling reports and supporting documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and procedures.
  • Analyse test results, identify and troubleshoot issues, and document findings in detailed reports.
  • Create and maintain product matrices, documenting product specifications, features and differences.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive commissioning and support documentation for new products including “how to” guides and player build guides.
  • Collaborate with other internal teams (such as sales, support and digital build) to ensure they are educated on any new products added to the portfolio.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to the role.
  • Report regularly to the Head of Digital Technology on project progress and any challenges encountered. This may include presenting findings and recommendations.
  • Maintain direct relationships with vendors for feedback, feature requests, and other communications.
  • Create and update media player operating system images to ensure they are up-to-date and functioning correctly, documenting the changes as required.
  • Provide training to internal teams, such as digital build, sales, installation engineers, and support, on any newly qualified products.

Experience

  • 3+ years experience in a similar position - QA, Product Development, AV Support etc
  • Understanding of digital technologies
