Contract: Full time & Permanent – Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week

Location: Hybrid working – 4 days homeworking and site based around Reading/Berkshire - Hoddesdon Office (EN11) 1 day per week

Salary: £25,000 to £27,000 DOE

At RMG we manage small and large blocks and estates for RMC (Resident Management Companies), L&T (Landlord & Tenant) and Developers. You’ll be working alongside a great team of property management professionals, led by a highly experienced senior management team.

What will you be doing?

We are recruiting an Assistant Property Manager, with a hybrid work arrangement, 1 day in office and 4 days either site based within our portfolio which covers Hounslow, Swindon and Reading or homeworking (diary dependant). This is a client facing role, assisting our Senior Property Manager deliver exclusive property management and superb customer service to our key developer client and leaseholders at this large luxury waterfront development. It is a busy role requiring an organised Assistant Property Manager with a calm head, able to multitask and prioritise.

The Assistant Property Manager is a fulfilling role, but it can also be a great platform to progress to a Property Manager position in the future and suits a confident communicator, with property related administration / property management experience

Duties include –

  • Oversee reception and be the point of contact for contractors, client, residents and other visitors to the office
  • Point of contact for any queries from Caretaker and On-Site Cleaning Staff
  • Preparing weekly job rota for Caretaker to resolve issues, booking appointments with leaseholders. Administer Caretaker and Cleaning Staff Annual Leave requests, ensuring no clashes and updating the calendar accordingly.
  • Carry out site visits across the development and completing reports.
  • Raising all purchase orders for the development
  • Monitor and action incoming enquiries, responding within the agreed SLA
  • Preparing agendas, customer service reports, attending meetings, taking meeting minutes
  • Preparing mailmerges to individual blocks or across site
  • Administration of Section 20 Consultation notices
  • Booking venues for staff, contractor or resident meetings as requested
  • Ordering stationery or other office equipment as requested
  • Ordering equipment, tools and supplies for the Caretaker and Cleaning Staff as directed
  • Updating noticeboards across the development

What are we looking for?

  • Smartly presented, confident communicator used to client liaison
  • Strong office administration experience e.g. phone calls, laminating, filing, email responses
  • IT literate; able to use a variety of systems and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook to an intermediate level.
  • Attention to detail and good organisational skills.
  • Confident and customer centric mindset, going the extra mile comes naturally to you.
  • Property/Property Management administration experience is preferred.
  • A UK drivers License and access to a vehicle
