Recruitment Consultant

We have an exciting opportunity to join our lovely, friendly team based in central Reading, working out of arguably one of the towns finest offices, overlooking Forbury Gardens.

We are a small team that work well together and believe in offering our staff a supportive and fun environment that is all about offering a high quality recruitment service to our candidates and clients, without having the tedious and demotivating targets most recruitment agencies work to.

All candidates must have a minimum 3+ years previous recruitment experience in the UK and have worked in an agency setting (we are happy to consider all levels), you will be happy working in an autonomous role, be confident in your decision making and have a high degree of business acumen.

This role will be part time and we are flexible on the days and hours to be worked, to suit your lifestyle.

Your duties and responsibilities will be varied but will mainly consist of:

· Taking detailed job and person specs from clients over the telephone/email/in person and ensuring you are fully aware of all aspects of a vacancy prior to advertising

· Emailing and negotiating terms & conditions of business

· Advertising job vacancies on several job boards/platforms

· Develop new business and nurture client accounts

· Using CV Search facility on job boards to find potential talent

· Communicating with applicants and assessing their suitability based on skills, experience and client fit.

· Submitting CV’s, arranging interviews and submitting bespoke interview agendas to candidates to assist with their interview preparation

· Collating interview feedback, relaying feedback and managing job offers

· Keeping in regular contact with successful applicants and ensuring communication is continued even after they have started their new job to ensure as smooth a transition as possible

· Ensure all candidate paperwork is in place and agency standards as well as our quality standards are met at all times.

Package:

· Part time, flexi-hours considered

· Salary £25,000 - £35,000 basic pro rata + commission
