Our client, a leader within Engineering and Manufacturing, is seeking an experienced Logistics Compliance Manager with a strong focus on compliance to join their dynamic team. What will you be spearheading as the Logistics Compliance Manager?- Manage and ensure compliance with all customs regulations, including import and export laws.
- Oversee the accurate classification of goods using tariff codes.
- Liaise with HMRC and other relevant authorities on compliance matters.
- Stay up-to-date with international trade legislation, ensuring that all processes align with current laws.
- Work closely with internal teams to optimize logistics operations while maintaining compliance.
- Conduct audits and implement improvements to reduce the risk of non-compliance.
- Provide expert advice on customs documentation, duty relief schemes, and trade facilitation.

- Proven experience in logistics management with a strong compliance focus.
- In-depth knowledge of lean principles, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of customs legislation, import/export regulations, and tariff codes.
- Experience dealing with HMRC and understanding of UK trade laws.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal teams and external authorities.
- Strong proficiency in logistics management software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools, including Power BI for reporting and insights
