Job Title: Scientific Administrator

Rate: £16.88ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35)

Hours: Standard 36 Hours Per Week
The candidate will join our client's mission to Lead the Future of Snacking and "Make It with Pride".The candidate will efficiently administer samples for scientific analysis by creating records, assigning analytical tests, allocating samples for analysis, maintaining chain-of-custody for controlled samples, inputting results and liaising with clients. This role requires the candidates to apply their organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.What the candidates are expected to bring:

- A relevant scientific discipline.
- Competency in the use of generic and specific software packages required for the role including MS Office applications.
- Basic lab equipment, preferably with work experience in a scientific environment.

- Accountability, honesty, hardworking, flexibility and adaptability and working efficiently in a team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- The candidate will efficiently administer samples for scientific analysis by creating records, assigning analytical tests, allocating samples for analysis, maintaining chain-of-custody for controlled samples, inputting results and liaising with clients.
- This role requires the candidates to apply their organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.
How the candidate will contribute:
- Candidate will be responsible for all scientific administrative tasks including lab administration, housekeeping activities and working in accordance with laboratory-set quality standards.
- The candidate will liaise with clients and will always demonstrate high-quality customer service, by ensuring that work is done on-time, that the analytical data generated is reliability, and that the results are accurate and provided in a timely manner.
- The candidate will also assist with routine checks/calibrations and control documentation to ensure that only the most current versions are supplied to analysts.
- This role will require you to work at the highest standards of safety and quality, maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment and completing assigned quality actions in a timely manner.
