Harper Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a leading, global, innovative software company. Our client has a pioneering approach to technology and a culture of delivering a superior customer service experience to their client base.
The role is all B2B, and the successful Business Development Manager will thrive in developing meaningful client relationships and be a motivated, driven, positive individual.
Duties include:
* Conducting research to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity. Using insights to develop business strategies and marketing campaigns
* Travel across the Oxford, Swindon, Reading and Bristol area
* Building strong relationships with customers, industry partners, and influencers to generate leads and drive revenue
* Creating and presenting tailored proposals to potential clients, highlighting the value of products and services
* Leading contract negotiations to secure favourable terms, ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction
* Implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed targets, track performance, and report to senior management
* Working with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and contribute to product development and continuous improvement
* Staying updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices
Who are we looking for:
* 2+ years of B2B sales experience
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets
* Experience in prospecting, negotiations, and closing sales
* Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities
