Role Overview:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a fast-growing organisation specialising in HV and LV jointing services up to 33kV. This role will focus on driving brand exposure, securing new business, and establishing strong relationships with ICPs, DNOs, and iDNOs. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the company's growth, helping the business scale efficiently and continue to offer exceptional services within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Development and Exposure:

  • Develop and execute strategies to increase company visibility within the HV and LV jointing services sector.
  • Leverage various marketing tools and networking opportunities to boost brand presence and recognition.
  • Create and implement campaigns that resonate with target clients, including digital platforms and industry events.

Business Generation:

  • Identify and target new business opportunities with ICPs, DNOs, and iDNOs.
  • Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with key industry stakeholders to win new contracts and projects.
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure smooth transitions from business acquisition to project execution.

Growth and Expansion:

  • Play a central role in helping the company scale efficiently as it grows, ensuring systems and strategies align with business objectives.
  • Maintain a keen understanding of market trends and competitor activity to position the company effectively.
  • Monitor and report on business development progress and pipeline.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in business development, particularly within the HV and LV jointing services industry or a similar technical field.
  • Strong network of contacts within ICPs, DNOs, and iDNOs.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, with a drive to deliver results and contribute to company growth.
  • Full UK driving licence (due to travel requirements).
