National Account Manager (Grocery & Online)Location: Reading, UKSalary: £40,000 per annum (plus benefits)Are you a results-driven account manager with experience in the grocery, convenience, or online retail sector?An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading specialty food brand builder that champions premium products and sustainability, and partners with some of the most innovative food and drink brands in the UK.We are looking for a passionate National Account Manager to manage and grow relationships across grocery and online retailers. In this integral role, you will work closely with key partners to drive sales growth, develop strategic account plans, and ensure exceptional brand representation.What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Managing and developing national accounts across grocery, symbol groups, and online platforms.
  • Building strong relationships to drive revenue growth and secure new opportunities.
  • Developing and executing strategic account plans aligned with business goals.
  • Negotiating commercial agreements to deliver profitable results.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful product launches, promotions, and brand positioning.
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Providing accurate sales forecasts and reporting on key performance metrics.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience as a National Account Manager within grocery, online retail and/or food manufacturing
  • A real passion for food and sustainability
  • Strong commercial acumen and a proven track record of delivering sales growth
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach to account management
  • Experience in the food/drink sector is essential
