The PR Account Manager Opportunity:

We are looking for a strong operator who is well versed in PR, communications, storytelling and the media.

Our clients span professional services, transport, hospitality, sustainability, charity and sport. We strive to deliver impactful PR and communications campaigns for our clients, which requires an understanding of their business, sector, audiences and the media.

Our work includes PR, media relations, strategic communications, social media management, content creation, video, events and partnerships. We are entrepreneurial and a small close-knit team with a strong work ethic that delivers great results for our clients, with storytelling at the heart of our services.

What you’ll be doing:

+ Client account management and delivery of campaigns on strategy, on time and on budget
+ Developing client strategies and implement relevant activity
+ Providing strategic communications advice to clients
+ Content planning management
+ Creating content for owned and earned media
+ Researching, writing and placing articles / press releases in the media
+ Media relations
+ Pitching to the media to gain maximum strategic coverage
+ Proactively monitoring the media for opportunities for clients
+ Building positive and beneficial relationships and networks
+ Supporting and developing colleagues
+ Supporting new business activity

About You:

+ Hold previous relevant experience (1 to 2 years as an Account Manager, or 2 to 3 years as an Account Executive/Senior Account Executive)
+ Proven track record of PR success
+ Organised
+ Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Able to work to quick deadlines
+ Passionate about PR, the media, business, culture, trends and current affairs
+ Able to think strategically and to provide strategic advice
+ Solid knowledge of social media and digital media
+ Educated to A Levels
+ An excellent storyteller and content creator
+ Enjoys new business

Desirable:

+ Degree
+ Video skills
+ Digital marketing experience
+ Driving licence and vehicle
+ Journalism experience
