We are looking for an Operations and Sales Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our dynamic team. The role primarily involves sales administration and dispatch duties, with the flexibility to assist in the production department during lower administrative demand periods. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a varied role and is committed to delivering high-quality customer service.

Day to day of the role:

  • Answer telephone and email enquiries from customers regarding pricing, product availability, and order progress.
  • Receive and acknowledge orders, perform validation/integrity checks, and process them on Cin7, including internet sales.
  • Monitor progress of orders and communicate any issues to customers.
  • Liaise with the production team regarding customer orders.
  • Pick and pack orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy in documentation, both manual and computerised.
  • Communicate with couriers regarding delivery issues and manage the storage and movement of goods.
  • Assist with stock counts as required.
  • Support the production of products, operate special purpose jigs, fixtures, and machines after suitable training.
  • Adhere to the company’s Health & Safety and Equal Opportunities policies.
  • Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested within the company or associated group companies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality customer service.
  • Proficiency in numeracy and IT skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and methodically under pressure.
