Our client is a market leading company that specialises within the HVAC sector predominantly having a superb stance in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Units.Covering the Reading area as a Sales Engineer you will crucial role in driving sales by combining technical expertise with effective communication skills. You will be responsible for understanding client needs, presenting tailored air conditioning solutions, and ensuring a seamless transition from sales to implementation. This role requires a deep understanding of air conditioning systems, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What's involved for the Sales Engineer…

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our client's air conditioning product line
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies
  • Conduct thorough assessments of client requirements, understanding technical specifications and translating them into viable solutions
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations, highlighting the technical features and benefits of our client's air conditioning solutions
  • Collaborate with clients to customise air conditioning solutions to meet their specific needs, incorporating technical details into tailored proposals
  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to clients with varying levels of technical understanding, ensuring clarity and building confidence in the companies end solutions

What you'll need…

  • Must have previous sales experience
  • Refrigeration or HVAC experience desirable
  • Equipment sales experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • To be able to work closely with the project and application teams to align technical solutions with client expectations
  • Oversee and ensure a smooth transition from the sales phase to project implementation, collaborating with project delivery team
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients
  • Provide accurate forecasting of new and future business. Use CRM any other internal systems to provide accurate to enable the business to track customer and sales activity
