Orka Financial is working with a growing business based in Reading, who are seeking to hire a highly organised Finance Assistant to join their finance team.In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoices, issuing payments, and maintaining accurate records of financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with the experience supporting a finance department.This is good opportunity to further your career within a Finance Assistant role.(Hybrid working)
- Checking and entering purchase order’s and Invoices
- Entering bank statement transactions
- Import duty accounting
- Employee expense claims & credit cards
- Processing payments to all suppliers
- Account reconciliations
- Flexibility to support other job functions as appropriate
Skills required
- Good Excel skills
- Good communication skills, both verbally and written
- Strong numerical ability with a keen eye for detail
Salary £25,000 - £28,000 + hybrid working model, competitive company benefits
