Salary:
13.30 per hour PAYE.
Laboratory AssistantRole:
- Will work flexibly across different departments including analytical, food product development and food manufacturing.
- Provide high quality customer service at all times by ensuring effective organisation of assigned workload, integrity of analytical data generated and timely/accurate provision of results.
- Perform a range of basic routine analysis, product manufacturing and sample preparation under supervision of a senior member of staff.
- Use of specified instrumentation and laboratory equipment, including calibration where required.
- Produce reliable, accurate data and keep accurate records of laboratory work undertaken and results.
Your Background:
- Experience in the use of generic and specific software packages required for the role (LIMS system, Q-Pulse, etc.) would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of GLP/ GMP guidelines.
- A-levels in a scientific discipline would be preferred.
- Ability to operate basic laboratory and manufacturing equipment as required.
