We are working alongside a forward-thinking secondary school in Berkshire with a strong focus on student well-being. They're currently looking to hire a Female PE Teacher for their vibrant PE department. This role will start in January 2025. We are looking to appoint a Female PE Teacher, as this role is exempt from the Equality Act 2010 to address specific educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Deliver PE Lessons: Design and implement a dynamic curriculum for Key Stages 4 and 5, catering to diverse student abilities and encouraging active participation.
  • Assessment and Progress Tracking: Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback and support to enhance their skills and confidence in physical education.
  • Extracurricular Activities: Lead and support a range of extracurricular sports clubs and teams, fostering a love for physical activity and representing the school in local competitions.

Requirements:

  • Must be a qualified teacher.
  • Experience: Previous experience teaching PE at the secondary school level is highly desirable.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
  • Commitment: A genuine passion for promoting health, fitness, and an active lifestyle among young people.
  • Must be available for January 2025.
