We are looking for an experienced English Tutor to work with students who are school refusers or those struggling academically. This part-time role is perfect for a compassionate and adaptable educator who is committed to helping students overcome their challenges and improve their English skills.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and effective English lessons tailored to students who have difficulty with traditional learning environments.
- Assess individual learning needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Foster a supportive and understanding classroom atmosphere to help students feel valued and motivated.
- Collaborate with other educational professionals to plan and coordinate educational activities that enhance student learning.
- Monitor and report on the progress of students, providing feedback and support to encourage their academic growth.
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience in teaching or tutoring English, particularly to students who are disengaged from mainstream education.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to connect with students and educational staff.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan lessons and educational activities effectively.
