A fantastic Alternative Provision based in Reading want to welcome an enthusiastic candidate to the team as a Student Behaviour Assistant. The school cater to students who have additonal needs related to challenging behaviour and mental health challenges. They are seeking a confident individual to join them as a Student behaviour Assistant to support the students who benefit from consistent guidance and encouragement. As a Student Behaviour Assistant, you will be assisting students aged 4 - 18 years old throughout the school day.

The Student Behaviour Assistant's responsibilities:

  • Identify potential triggers for challenging behaviour
  • Encourage independence and self-investigation
  • Act as a role model for students
  • Communicate with teachers, parents and on-site professionals
  • Ensuring students feel safe and able to express themselves
