This is a hands-on role working for a family run business on their busy, rural site in Twyford. In this position, you will oversee the Health and Safety of the grounds and workshop while ensuring a safe and clean environment and supporting with general maintenance tasks across the business.

The role:

  • H&S administration including risk assessments
  • Overseeing workshop - ensuring clean and tidy environment
  • Ensure team members have provisions to complete tasks in a safe manner
  • Ensuring all areas of the business adhere to safety standards
  • Monitoring and arranging maintenance for vehicles, equipment, machinery etc.
  • Assist with projects across the business
  • Supporting with manual tasks across the site including groundwork, maintenance, removals etc

The right person:

  • Working knowledge of H&S regulations
  • Experience in managing or supervising a workshop/warehouse/construction environment
  • Happy to be hands on and get involved in different areas of the business with physical tasks
  • Strong IT skills
  • A friendly, team player who enjoys working with a varied team
