Sonic Summary

An experienced Field Service Engineer is needed to cover the South of England for a leading injection moulding production company on a full-time permanent basis.
The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining injection moulding machinery, providing preventative maintenance, and offering technical support to customers.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of field service experience and at least 2 years of mechanical/electrical service or maintenance experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
A qualification in mechanical and electrical engineering and a full, clean UK driver's license are required, along with a willingness to travel extensively.
The salary for this position is competitive, and the role involves working over 40 hours per week.

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer covering the South of England to join one of our clients on full-time permanent basis. Our client is a leading injection moulding production company.

Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer

Attend client sites to diagnose, repair and maintain injection moulding machinery.
Fault finding.
Provide preventative maintenance to machines across sites.
Emergency breakdown repairs.
Installation and commissioning of equipment.
Provide technical support and training to customers.

Requirements for a successful Field Service Engineer

At least 2 years experience of Mechanical/Electrical service and/or maintenance machines.
Experience working on pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Minimum 3 years’ field service experience with a willingness to travel extensively.
Injection Moulding machine experience.
A qualification in mechanical and electrical engineering.
A full, clean UK drivers license.
