Field Service Engineer
Covering South UK
OTE £65K including average overtime, paid door to door.
Basic Salary up to £40,000 basic DOE

Due to expansion, there is now an exciting opportunity for an experienced Multiskilled Field Service Engineerto join their engineering team.
The Role:
- Travelling to customer sites, diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults and fixing industrial shredding machinery to ensure that customer downtime is kept to a minimum.
- Inspections and servicing of shredders and recycling machinery.
- Installing and commissioning shredder machinery newly delivered to customers.
- Providing basic shredder operation and maintenance training to customer operators to ensure their ability to use shredders safely and effectively.
- Frequent overnight stays (on average at least 3 nights per week)
- Weekend work may be required and, on a Rota, basis.
Field Service Engineer Essential Experience / Skills required:
- Knowledge of heavy plant will be essential, and previous experience with shredders, crushers and screeners would be a major advantage.
- Apprentice trained Electrical / Mechanical Engineer (Multi- Skilled)
- Single or 3 phase Electrical qualifications or experience is essential.
- Skilled in diagnosing and fixing electrical and mechanical machinery faults.
- Worked with gearboxes and bearings.
- Experience Installing and commissioning industrial machinery.
- Full UK driving licence (ideally clean)
- Flexibility is required in relation to working hours to ensure that jobs are finished.
Additional Package Information:
- 40 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 08.00 to 17:00 and Friday 08:00-15:30 (45 mins for lunch each day)
- 29 days holiday including bank holidays rising to 33 after 4 years’ service
