Project Engineer – 12-Month Contract – Inside IR35 - Reading
VIQU have partnered with a leading consultancy who deliver critical projects in energy, water, renewables, and manufacturing, with this role being part of the Nuclear team.
Our client is seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of Electrical Control Systems on a nuclear site.
The successful Project Engineer will support and lead a team of Engineers with installation, test, and commissioning activities, so strong experience within Electrical Engineering is paramount.
Key skills & responsibilities:
- Strong experience as a Project Engineer on Nuclear sites
- Background in electrical engineering  / ECI & I, and ability to support electrical installation / test / commissioning activities
- Good people management skills – staff & subcontractors
- Awareness of NEC3/4 contracts
- Relevant safety and first aid certifications required e.g. IOSH Managing Safely, First Aid at Work
- CCNSG Safety Passport
- CDM Training relevant to site
- SC Clearance
