We are seeking passionate individuals to join a dynamic team as Residential Support Workers. In this role, you will provide essential care, guidance, and support to children within a nurturing home environment, helping them develop life skills, build confidence, and thrive.
Key Responsibilities:- Work with the management team to ensure the home operates in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Safeguard and promote the well-being of children, protecting them from harm and exploitation.
- Establish meaningful relationships, acting as a positive role model, and assisting in the personal development of children.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to planning and reviews for each childs care.
- Provide flexible support on a shift rota, including sleep-in duties and occasional overnight cover.
Essential:
- Commitment to achieving a Diploma Level 3/4 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People Pathway).
- Understanding of child development and childrens physical and emotional needs.
- Compassionate, with strong interpersonal skills and a caring nature.
- Flexibility and a commitment to working as part of a supportive team.
Desirable:
- Experience working with children and young people in residential care settings.
- Knowledge of safeguarding policies and childrens home regulations.
- Creativity and the ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Full driving licence.
- Flexibility to cover shifts in other homes operated by the company when required.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week plus sleep-in duties.
