The school are fully committed to creating a supportive, nurturing environment where students can express themselves freely and receive the support they need while still accessing high quality education. Students attending the school are aged 4 - 16 years old and face challenges regarding social, emotional and mental health needs. The School Youth Worker role is a crucial position within the school's community.

Main Responsibilities of a School Youth Worker:

  • Using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage students
  • Create a safe environment for students to speak freely
  • Collaborate with educational psychologists to tailor learning plans
  • Implement therapeutic techniques
  • Encourage independence and self-investigation
  • 1-1 based support and interventions

The school are excited to welcome a School Youth Worker to improve their students' quality of education. Full training will be provided on site to the successful applicant. Previous experience is beneficial but not mandatory! The school are looking for a confident, enthusiastic candidate to help their students reach their full potential in education and society.
