Support Worker

Flexible work available, full time and part time opportunities based around your availability. Opportunities available for experienced care workers and support workers or for people new to the sector who are interested in gaining experience and training.

We are currently recruiting for a carer or support worker based in Reading to work within a service providing for 3 lovely clients with learning disabilities. This role will be based in a residential property and be working with a small team of staff to provide full care for the residents.

We will work around your availability regarding shifts and hours, usual shift times for this client would be morning shifts, evening shifts, long days, weekends, waking night shifts, sleep in shifts and bank holidays. If you are looking for specific hours please do get in touch as we will have a number of other opportunities available as well.

This role will involve providing companionship to the resident you are supporting, helping them with preparing meals, household chores, assisting them out in the community, assisting with personal care, medication and finances.

A full induction will be carried out on your first shift with this client and training will be provided.

Suitable candidates for this position would ideally have experience working as a support worker, carer, health care assistant, mental health worker, experience working with autism or learning disabilities.
