REMOTE WORKING, with 2 days a week in the Reading office and attendance to monthly meetings in the office. You will need to live in an easy commutable distance from Reading.

Our Reading based client is currently recruiting for a pensions Administrator to join their team.

The role will focus solely on the administration of our Pension Scams Identification service in an exciting period of growth.

This role may suit a recent graduate who is seeking some admin experience, or a candidate with good admin skills and an eye for detail.

The Role

  • Onboarding of new members for Pension Scams service
  • Arrange appointments with members by telephone and email
  • Conduct telephone interviews with members to identify those at risk of a Pension Scam.
  • Produce reports for client teams, Trustees and Compliance review where needed
  • Dealing confidently with members by phone, email or letter
  • Updating/Maintaining records on the database
  • Ensuring that member cases are dealt with in accordance with strict deadlines
  • Process cases in line with agreed Scam Protection Team processes
  • Implementation of new clients

The Person

  • Experience in admin is preferred
  • Inquisitive with strong interpretation skills
  • Ideally, be educated to A-level standard
  • Be able to demonstrate ownership, responsibility and accountability for self
  • Good telephone manner
  • Be organised, methodical and logical in approach to tasks
  • Be able to develop and implement own processes to manage high volumes of work
  • Have good leadership skills, the ability to manage own workload as well as assisting the team
  • Be proactive, having drive and commitment
  • Be able to work on own initiative
  • Be able to communicate effectively
  • Have the ability to work in a team towards company objectives > Have experience of working with MS Office products, such as Outlook, Excel, Word
