Allocations Officer - Housing Sector - Hybrid

Are you an experienced Allocations Officer looking for your next opportunity in the housing sector? A new position has become available for a skilled professional to manage the allocation of properties in line with the Housing Allocations Scheme and Nominations Agreement.

In this role, you will provide advice and assistance on the Council's Allocations Scheme while ensuring all housing legislation and regulations are met. You will oversee the allocation process from application assessment to property matching, making key decisions on housing register applications, band awards, and direct matching-particularly for households with medical needs, under occupiers, homeless applicants, and delayed discharge of care cases.

The role also involves coordinating void and new build property allocations with Housing Associations and requires hands-on experience with NEC (Northgate), Civica, and Jigsaw in an allocations or housing register context.
