Senior Salesforce Developer, Reading, Berkshire, £80-90K base + bens.
You must be an experienced Salesforce Developer with good APEX and React and either .Net or Python. Ideally you will also have experience of Azure, SQL (Ideally SQL Server) and knowledge of Microservices architecture.
This position requires 2 days a week (Tuesday and Thursday) in their Reading office.
The role:
You will be implementing new features, including AI, for their AppExchange-listed packages.
You might also be involved in backend services using Azure.
This role offers a chance to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a small but effective team.
Your responsibilities:
- Write clean, test-driven, and scalable code
- Revise, update, refactor, and debug code
- Quickly learn new technologies
- Stay updated with the latest industry best practices
- Produce architecture artifacts to explain strategic changes to key stakeholders
- Participate in code reviews and pull request approvals
What You'll Need:
- Salesforce development experience (APEX & React)
- Software development experience within a team
- Excellent communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Familiarity with architecture patterns and APIs (REST, SOAP)
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, source control, and software development teams
- The right to work full-time in the UK
- Familiarity with C# or Python
- A passion for programming
Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience with SQL (ideally SQL Server)
- Knowledge of Microservice Architecture and modeling techniques like Event Storming
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS
