This is an exciting time for a mid-level Software Developer with front end skills in JavaScript and React to join an internationally trusted source of medical news and education to the healthcare professional community, during a period of technical growth and transformation
The Role
Providing readily accessible content via a range of subject-specific websites and digital platforms, the Software Developer / Web Developer will work alongside other web developers, within a studio team comprising project management, design and video. Supporting the development of all my client's websites, the Software Developer / Web Developer will plan and execute new feature requests, working both collaboratively and on solo projects.

What’s required of the Software Developer / Web Developer?
- Commercial development experience with a front end focus, of building and maintaining modern websites in JavaScript and React
- Experience of React toolkits - ideally Gatsby - would be beneficial
- Some back end experience, ideally with PHP
- Some experience with databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Any experience with cloud (AWS preferred) and/or containerisation with Docker would be advantageous, although full training will be provided
