Job Description Summary
Our client, a global company requires a software engineer with experience working with energy management systems or similar. You will develop solutions to enhance the products and fix customer issues on the software, database and IT systems.
You will work on the product deployment pipeline and maintain a robust process for quality and automation. You will act a technical expert and provide technical expertise guidance to customers.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Work with customers to gather information, investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex issues.
• Provide software engineering support for incoming tickets across various modules in the product.
• Research and troubleshoot issues involving all aspects of the solutions.
• Develop fixes and products enhancement in collaboration with other teams.
• Read and understand complex application software codes and suggest fixes to resolve support issues.
• Perform the regular build deployment activities, Orchestrates the deployment process and guides the application through different environments until it reaches production.
• Handle out of hours 24/7 emergency support & Travel to customer sites at least three times per week in the region as required.
• Facilitating the relationship between customer and 3rd party vendors with whom the customer contracts directly.
Skills & Qualifications required
- C++, C, Java, Linux (red hat), Oracle
- SC Cleared ideally
- Experience with SCADA or similar power transmission
Skills desirable
- Kubernetes
