Our client is a leading consultancy renowned for delivering cutting-edge solutions in engineering, design, and project management. With a strong presence across construction, infrastructure, and energy sectors, they provide innovative solutions, project controls, and performance management services. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.

Role Overview:

As a Systems Engineer, you will lead the development, integration, and maintenance of system designs across the full engineering lifecycle. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure the design intent is maintained, compliance with safety and quality standards, and that customer requirements are successfully delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver systems engineering designs that address defined requirements and meet high-quality standards.
  • Support requirement management, ensuring traceability and alignment with stakeholder needs.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to maintain overall design intent and ensure system integration.
  • Provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle, identifying and escalating areas of concern.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualifications: ONC/OND in a relevant discipline (HNC/HND preferred).
  • Skills: Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, requirements management, and engineering standards.
  • Tools: Experience with systems engineering tools (e.g., DOORS, Enterprise Architect).
  • Experience: Delivering systems designs within multidisciplinary teams; familiarity with highly regulated environments such as nuclear, defense, or similar sectors.
  • Regulatory: Must hold active DV clearance
