Software Tester - ISTQB, manual, Automated, quality assurance, testing, regression testing, End to end testing
Description for the Software Tester role:- Fantastic opportunity to join a fast growing Software house based in central Reading as a Software Tester. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for quality assurance, regression testing and delivering test plans. We are not looking for someone to write unit tests, the testing for this role will focus much more on end to end testing and usability testing. Applicants are likely to be degree educated and have at least 12mths commercial experience in a Testing role with a ISTQB or similar qualification.
This role might be for you if you are excited to make your mark on a company and implement your own ideas. My client are looking for someone who enjoys testing software built on the latest web frameworks such as React and .NET.
The role will be hybrid, 3 days in the office per week (Flexible, depending on your requirements)
Core skills/experience for the Software Tester role:
- 12 months+ commercial Testing experience (Could be a placement year)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- ISTQB or higher Test qualification
- Likely to have a Degree in a Technology/Computing/Scientific discipline.
- Any automated testing or basic programming skills a bonus.
Salary for the Software Tester role will depend on experience, but expect between £25,000 and £35,000 + pension, socials, regular salary reviews, 25 days hols raising to 28 days after your 1st year and a lot more!
