Behavioural Support Assistant - Theale to join a local Primary school team. This mainstream primary school is experiencing a decrease with their behaviour, many of their students have difficult homelives and it becomes a challenge to keep positive in their behaviour in school.

You will know it is not as easy to say "dont do that, do this". children don't respond well to negative reinforcement. The Theale based primary needs you to get to the route of the behaviour. To be able to break it down, to re-direct any negative behaviours.

About the Role

As a Behavioural Support Assistant - Theale, you will:

  • Provide individual and small group support to West Berkshire students with behavioural challenges.
  • Implement strategies to encourage positive behaviour.
  • Assist teachers in maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom.
