A fantastic school in Tilehurst, Reading are seeking a committed, enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to their staff this November. The school educate students aged 3 months to 5 years old and are looking for a confident individual to further support the children's learning. Working as a Learning Support Assistant will include guiding students throughout the school day and encouraging them with their learning material and developing independence.

Key Learning Support Assistant Responsibilities:

  • 1-1 based support throughout the school day
  • Participating in interventions and concentrated support
  • Adjusting learning material and classwork for students
  • Being a role model for the students
  • Providing a safe space for students to express themselves

The school have a collaborative approach to educating their students, communicating with parents, educational professionals and experts on site. The role of a Learning Support Assistant includes participating in team meetings with teachers, therapists and educational psychologists to tailor education plans to individual needs of the students.
