Role Overview: They are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their team. The successful candidate will work closely with students, staff, and parents to support positive behaviour and emotional well-being. This role is crucial in helping students develop the skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with behavioural needs.
- Develop and implement behaviour management plans.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment.
- Monitor and report on student progress.
- Engage with parents and caregivers to support student development.
- Participate in professional development and training sessions.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or behaviour management (preferred).
