Mile House Special Needs School is dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for students with special educational needs (SEN). We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team, helping to empower every student to achieve their full potential through personalized education and care.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
  • Support classroom activities and provide one-on-one assistance to students as needed.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is preferred.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
