Your local Primary school in Theale is recruiting to expand their team and hire multiple applicants for a SEN Classroom Assistant role, to focus on the SEN students in the school. To hire multiple candidates for the 1:1 positions. This is a growing department and focus to improve the educational support with pupils with Autism, Dyslexia, ADHD and other physical or learning disabilities.

Some of the students that require a 1:1 SEN Classroom Assistant for additional support and 1:1 interventions in the afternoon include:

• Autistic pupil, with sensory and auditory challanges.

• A Year 3 child with AuADHD, having impluse and engagement challenges.

• Year 6 with challenging behaviour, having a more complex SEMH.

• Year 3 student with limited movement, due to a physical impairement.

SEN Classroom Assistant

• ASAP Start
• Theale, West Berkshire
• 83.50 - 90 per day
• Full-time Mon-Fri 8.30am to 4pm
• Ideal for candidates with experience in SEN, particularly ASD

Theale graduates are welcome to apply.

Experience:

• 2 years working in a SEN specialist school, primary, secondary or similar childcare setting in Theale or anywhere in the UK.

Qualifications:

• GCSE's in Maths and English (C/4 or above)
• A fully approved/valid clear enhanced DBS check is required.
• Team Teach (desired)
• ASD/Autism courses or relevant SEN courses
• Driving licence (preferred)
