Your Role as an SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Support and work alongside the classroom teacher, providing one-on-one support to students.
  • Assist in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons to create a positive, fun learning environment.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and encourage positive decision-making among students.
  • Actively contribute to the school's commitment to student development, both academically and emotionally.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children or vulnerable adults, whether professionally or personally (such as supporting a family member with additional needs). A background in Psychology or Criminology is advantageous, though genuine passion and a positive attitude are most important.
