A brilliant school based in Tilehurst are looking for a passionate individual who is looking to gain experience in a school environment to join their team. Working as an SEN Teaching Assistant at the school, you will be supporting children with additional needs throughout the school day. You will collaborate with professionals on site to ensure students receive the highest quality of care.

Providing consistent support and positive reinforcement are key components of how the school supports both students AND staff. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will benefit from:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for observing and identifying behaviour patterns, triggers, coping mechanisms and improvement throughout the school day. Working with vulnerable students and students with additional needs will consist of acting as a role model, providing guidance and encouragement to develop independence.
