A brilliant school based in Reading are seeking an enthusiastic person to join the school in the position of Student Support Assistant. The school cater students with Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) and want to take on a Student Support Assistant to better support their students with additional needs.

The school follow a pupil-centred curriculum, with the intention of building students' confidence and motivation. As a Student Support Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for students facing challenges throughout the school day. You will assist the school in promoting Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), responding to challenging behaviour with compassion. The successful Student Support Assistant will communicate with fellow staff and experts on site in order to adjust Educational Health Care Plans to best suit the individual needs of the students. The students at the school benefit from consistent support throughout the school day, meaning a large portion of the Student Support Assistant role will be guiding students on a 1-1 basis.
