A special education school in Theale, Berkshire, has an opportunity for a pro-active individual to join their team as an Autism Specialist Assistant, supporting their students with a primary diagnosis of autistic spectrum condition. The school provide education students between the ages of 4-19 with additional needs and social, emotional and mental health needs. Joining the team as an Autism Specialist Assistant you will be supporting students both on a 1-1 basis and in small groups, with access to specialist facilities and equipment such as:

  • Science laboratories
  • Food technology rooms
  • Construction areas
  • Computer suites
  • Sensory and therapy spaces
  • Outdoor & indoor playgrounds

Joining the school in an Autism Specialist Assistant role you will play a crucial part in the students developing life skills and independence to help them reach their full potential in education and in society.
