Are you passionate about working with children with special educational needs (SEN)? We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Mentor to join a dynamic team in Welford. Newbury. This role support students with various special needs, including Autism, ADHD, and Mental Health.
Responsibilities in this amazing SEND school , Newbury
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN.
- Implement personalised learning and behaviour management strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to promote positive outcomes.
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive learning environment.
About You - Behaviour Support Mentor - Newbury
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant, Behaviour Mentor, or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of working with children with autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, patient, and resilient approach.
- A passion for education, with a desire to develop your skills in education and training.
