Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver educational support tailored to children with a range of needs including Emotionally Based School Avoidance, Anxiety, ASD, ADHD, cognitive delays, trauma, and sensory overloads.
  • Create and implement engaging, inclusive lesson plans that accommodate the specific learning and communication needs of each student.
  • Foster a therapeutic and emotionally empathetic classroom environment to support children who have struggled in mainstream settings.
  • Utilise our unique resources such as an off-site therapeutic farm and an equine therapy centre to provide enriching educational experiences.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, helping them feel safe, inspired, and valued within the school community.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting educational strategies to meet individual needs and goals.
