Project Manager - Retail Supply Chain 6 month contract with potential extension Inside IR35 via UmbrellaHybrid based ( 1-2 days on site in Bracknell)

Our client, one of the UKs top retailers, are looking for a Project Manager with Supply Chain SME knowledge to join them on an initial 6 month contract basis and lead business workstreams.

They are looking for someone who can support a delivery project within Supply Chain under the following umbrella headings:

  • Transport
  • Warehousing
  • KPI's and Measures
  • B2B/Convenience
  • SDS (Transport)

Experience required:

  • Supply Chain SME knowledge
  • Retail industry knowledge
  • Key Stakeholder Management skills
  • Experience working in a fast paced and demanding environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, to budget, and meeting all quality targets.
  • Establishing the project plan baseline, defining project scope and securing the necessary resources and plans for each phase.
  • Managing risks, issues and dependencies. Identifying and removing roadblocks.
  • Driving project execution and managing the change control process, conflicts and escalations.
  • Engaging stakeholders and ensuring on-going project alignment with business strategy and governance processes.
  • Managing 3rd party suppliers. Investigating, resolving and escalating problems.
